Pizza Fiorentina sur Nice

I convinced my wife to walk here with me on our last night in Nice after packing. Our forecasted G-maps walk of 20 minutes ended up as 30 minutes due to a missed turn, but the Truffle Pizza we shared along with the Tiramisu were well worth the 1.6+ mile walk from our hotel. Surely this was our best dining experience while staying down by Park Phoenix and Grand Arenas.

Arrived without a booking ( not necessary on a Monday evening) to a warm and enthusiastic greeting. This interaction continued despite my lack of French. The pizza and buffalo salad were delicious and adult meal size, at a very reasonable price. They offer an extensive range of toppings, as well as a variety of pastas. The restaurant is located in a residential area, about a 20 minute walk from the main hotel district near Nice airport, so not too difficult to reach but well worth the minimal effort. This experience was a worthwhile change to the less personal restaurants generally associated with hotel areas. Thanks to the proprietors who I hope read this review.

A small, but very good, neighborhood pizzeria with welcoming staff. The food is of perfect quality and not to be missed, away from the tourists.
