Pizza Glanum sur Saint-Remy-De-Provence

We arrived to order at 10:30 PM. If they had simply told us they were closed, we would have understood and moved on. However, upon arrival, we were greeted with: "Hurry up, we're closing. If you want a pizza, it has to be now." The person preparing the pizzas explained that they were supposed to have closed at 9:30 PM. This was followed by a condescending, "We want to go home" and "It would be convenient if you came back tomorrow." I completely understand that after a long day, one can be tired, and perhaps simply telling us, "We're closed, we're no longer serving," or "We have to close, would it be possible to order soon?" would have been more appropriate. I myself run a business and I know what this entails. I don't believe the customer is always right, but respect should be mutual. When my friend simply asked if it was possible to replace the tomato base on a pizza with a cream base, the person sighed before replying, "If it says tomato, it's tomato base, but I can make it with cream." I can't judge the pizzas themselves, as we left. They looked very good, seemed homemade, and smelled very appetizing. My opinion concerns only the service we received. I didn't hear a single "please" during the entire conversation. Perhaps it was just an off day. But as a customer, that's unfortunately the impression I'll be left with. You still have my utmost respect for your work and the business you're trying to run.

These are the best pizzas, and the whole family agrees. We no longer live in St Rémy de Provence, but we go back specifically for the Glanum pizzas!
