Our hotel was closed today. Right across the street is this pizza stand. There are a few tables in front. Or you can order, and the friendly lady will tell you when it's ready. It took about 30 minutes for us. But it was worth the wait. The pizza is absolutely delicious. The crust is nice and thin and crispy. Who would have thought you could get such a good pizza here in the middle of the French Pyrenees? They come in two sizes, 26 and 33 cm. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much.

The pizzas are simply excellent; the dough, which they make themselves, is incredibly delicious. However, I recommend calling ahead to order pizzas during peak season, otherwise you'll have to wait to enjoy them.

Auberge des Deux Rivieres

07/06/2026: We arrived unexpectedly on a Saturday evening, June 6th, 2026, at 8 pm, with 11 people. We received a wonderfully warm welcome. The meat was perfect, the cassoulet perfect, the foie gras perfect, and the presentation of the meat before cooking was exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant.
07/06/2026: Amazing place and hosts, such lovely people. After travelling through the Pyrenees for two weeks, we finally felt like we ate proper, good French food. It was trully excellent, best meal we had all trip. We hope to come back here one day and regret staying in Aulus-les-bains instead of here. If you are planning to explore the area, I would definitely recommend this hotel as your base. Or also just for a one night stop or to eat. We also saw an otter swim as we sat at our table overlooking the river. The owners can tell you all kinds of amazing things about the region and they are happy to have a chat with you which is great if you're looking for things to do
