24/11/2024: What a wonderful evening I and my 4 friends spent Friday evening at the Paul Germain restaurant! What a great discovery this restaurant that we didn't know existed. No false notes, everything was perfect from the reception until the moment we left, it was after midnight. We were kindly made to understand that the restaurant was going to close but without the feeling of being rushed towards the exit. The boss is very nice with a good sense of humor which made us laugh a lot. His cuisine is delicious, as are the wines. And, at Paul Germain, they don't serve you portions of canary! The dishes are very generous and so good that the plates left empty. The fish was delicious with perfectly mastered cooking, no doubt about the freshness of the product which must have been purchased the same day from the fishmonger. The setting is magnificent, cozy, it's clean and the restaurant is not noisy which is really appreciated. The layout of the restaurant had to be optimized to provide an atmosphere of serenity. We feel that there is craftsmanship and experience because everything is mastered so that the customer feels good and leaves satisfied. We will come back because this restaurant is a must in the Brest landscape, to try at least once. The 5 stars join the string of previous reviews
08/11/2024: A great experience, a setting and an atmosphere that makes us feel "at home". A top chef, who masters his products and knows how to highlight each of the flavors of the dishes. Also Florent's oratorical talents worthy of the courses. In short, I can only highly recommend this address and I will return with pleasure!

La Bouteille à la Mer

13/11/2025: A wonderful discovery with colleagues. A very warm welcome, delicious cuisine, fresh ingredients, and very subtle preparation. A true explosion of flavors! Go there, it's absolutely delicious! Mushroom cappacio with Parmesan: excellent! Melting endives, kaffir lime, and smoked sausage: a real treat because all the flavors were perfectly balanced, even though I don't usually like endives. The cauliflower crème brûlée dessert was also excellent: a real delight!!! Thank you to the chef and his assistant!
11/10/2025: An authentic setting, fresh produce for a daily menu, cuisine with a quality/price ratio that rivals the region's Michelin-starred restaurants, natural wines, and a warm hostess who appreciates a job well done! I recommend it 100%.
