Pizza Sur le Zinc sur Gap

The pizzeria is a small laboratory in which Serge (Sergio, in Italy) and Eve prepare take-away pizzas (pizza à emporter, they say in France). We would have liked to order two small pizzas, but Serge - with a Tuscan accent - insisted on letting us have a large pizza. It feels like being in Liguria, without being in Liguria: wonderful! His wife Eve (I assume it was his wife) seemed a little annoyed by the presence of two Italians, perhaps potential bearers of criticism of pizza from beyond the Alps. Anyway, the pizza is very expensive, if it were in Italy, but evidently these are the prices in France: €13 for what appears to be the Margherita (+ emmental). But what can we say? The pizza is good, perhaps the dough was not very salty, but perhaps due to hunger, I appreciated everything: the mozzarella and the Emmental.
