Pizzeria Au Fil De L'eau sur L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue

Excellent meal, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Go back without hesitation, the service and food were top-notch.

Had a meal at Au Fil de l'Eau. The food itself was good—well-prepared and enjoyable, with decent flavors and fresh ingredients. However, the overall experience felt a bit unusual. There was a strict requirement that everyone order a full plate, which made the atmosphere feel less flexible than expected for a casual riverside-style restaurant. The vibe was also a bit hard to describe—something felt off in the general setup and flow of the place. The washroom area was particularly surprising and not very comfortable, which affected the overall impression. Good food, but the experience around it didn’t fully match, so it lands at 3 stars.

A superb welcome on a terrace with a magnificent view of the Sorgue river, very pleasant staff providing excellent service. A very good ribeye steak cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time at Au Fil de l’Eau. The restaurant offers a huge selection of choices, from appetizers and main courses to desserts and pizzas, so everyone can easily find something they like. The service is quick and friendly. Special mention goes to the roast duck breast, which was absolutely excellent, as well as the pasta with scallops, which was a real treat. The cooking is perfectly executed, and the dishes are beautifully presented; you can tell the cuisine is serious and well-crafted. A minor drawback, however, is the cheese course, which was rather classic and a bit of a letdown compared to the other dishes. The same goes for the gourmet coffee, which was pleasant but less memorable than the rest of the meal, which was particularly successful. The prices are reasonable considering the quality, and the setting on the banks of the Sorgue River adds a real charm to the experience. A place where people come as much for the good food as for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We will gladly return!
