Pizzeria de l'horloge sur Saint-Macaire

Last night of our trip to France. This was a super meal with great service and a fantastic atmosphere. The waiters were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They were very busy and attended to everyone. My wife had the carbonara and I had a pizza. Both were excellent. We had a carafe of wine and it was pretty good too.

A truly fantastic restaurant! My wife and I ate there on our host's recommendation and had a wonderful time. The owners are lovely and the atmosphere is really pleasant. The dishes are homemade, which is a real treat... and the price is very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. The tiramisu is homemade, and frankly, for a dessert that's quite difficult to make well, it was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this little restaurant. The atmosphere is very calm yet friendly, and the staff are very pleasant, which is a major plus! The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. The waiters have a real holiday feel. If you want to eat in peace and quiet, enjoy good quality food in a pleasant setting, I highly recommend it 🙏🏼
