La Belle Lurette sur Saint-Macaire

Everything is just chance and circumstance, except for recklessness. A wonderful discovery. The decor, the products, everything was great. A kiss on Rose's left cheek, and a shout-out to Mika who was so sweet to me. The concert at Arlette's was the icing on the cake, so some of the photos are from that. A magnificent village.

Stopped in Macaire and found this fabulous bar/bistro for lunch. A great menu - we had salmon cerviche and beef carapaccio. And desert in the plat du jour

Charming and spacious place. We didn't eat anything. The service was perfect. We happened to be there while a Celtic music group was playing, which was really lively.

What more can I say? The owners were incredibly attentive! What a meal! Some restaurant owners could learn a thing or two from Pauline. Everything was perfect! Except for one small issue, but they couldn't do anything about that: the room was very hot, but it was 36 degrees Celsius. Thank you!

As a regular at this wonderful place, I love its atmosphere, its warm welcome, and its excellent cuisine, and I had another fantastic time there last night! Passing through the area, we stumbled upon this place by chance. A very pleasant surprise! Even though it was busy, the service was quick and the food was excellent. We'll gladly return.

An unusual spot, perfect for relaxing on the sunny terrace on a Sunday. Numerous concerts take place on Fridays and Saturdays. Definitely worth checking out. The only downside is the price of cocktails, between €8 and €11, practically as expensive as in the heart of Bordeaux.

Excellent, I highly recommend it!! The staff is very friendly. Good, original, beautifully presented, and delicious dishes, all at an affordable price. The interior is nicely decorated, and there's also the option to eat outside. They offer set menus: main course only or main course + dessert.
