Pizzeria La Romana sur Chabeuil

We ordered four pizzas to go. One of them was nothing like what we ordered. The menu described the "Verdi" pizza as having artichoke, cream, garlic, and goat cheese, but I received one with eggplant, egg, and goat cheese. The pizzas were okay, but far from the best we've ever had. The crust was undercooked and lacked salt. We didn't eat them all that day. We reheated them the next day on the barbecue, which slightly charred the crust, and they were much better.

Contrary to what I'd read, the owner is discreet and friendly. The ravioli gratin and fried Camembert were very good. The waitress was excellent despite the crowd on the terrace.

We came to this restaurant for Miss Isa's concert and we had a wonderful meal! Delicious and generous portions. We had a fantastic time!

The meal was impeccable, the portions generous, even a little too generous 😋, the ingredients were high quality, and the staff was pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant and we'll gladly return! A wonderful discovery.

Finding Pizzeria du Porche is easy: just look for the porch, the old fortified gate of Chabeuil 😉. Once seated, the service is quick, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. Having ordered a pizza, and being in a pizzeria, I was served a large one promptly. Honestly, everything was excellent, from the crust to the generous amount of toppings. A dessert (tiramisu, purely out of indulgence) and a coffee completed this very good meal for just over €20. A place I highly recommend! One last thing: don't ride your bike on the sidewalk! First of all, it's against the rules of the road. Secondly... I'll let you discuss that with the chef 😀 Thanks again to the whole team!

A lovely restaurant located on an equally lovely square. We enjoyed a superb Royan salad made with ravioli. Truly generous and excellent.
