Pizzeria Pachino Léognan sur Leognan

I went there for wine tasting and had a lovely experience. The tour was handled by Michelle who turned out to be very knowledgable and passionate about the wine and the property. Great English.The settings are beautiful and the wines are interesting (pretty good value for money), for Bordeaux reds surprisingly smooth and gentle, not overpowering with tannins. Overall can't recommend experience enough.

We were staying in one of the tents and it was unseasonably cold that night - so we were freezing! Despite their efforts to keep us warm with extra heaters and blankets Restaurant service was very slow - but the food excellent

Luxury and nature combined in one place.

A wonderful break in an exceptional place. We spent one night there in a family suite, the children loved it, the decoration is sublime, the castle is on a human scale, calm and relaxing! Breakfast in its exquisite little lounges!

Family stay which should have been superb. The rooms were magnificent but unfortunately the air conditioning was broken in ours and that of our children. We were offered to go and cool off at the restaurant while the repairs were being carried out, but no air conditioning either!! Outside temperature close to 40°, I sincerely think that it is not possible!! And finally, we are told that we have to change rooms and that there is only one left in which we have already stayed and which already had an air conditioning problem which we had reported at the time and in addition which is no longer at all suitable for the age of our children. A disaster!! Conclusion: About 1 hour after our arrival at the castle, we left the same day after all these inconveniences and THE FINAL: We were asked to pay for the bottle of water!!! What a lack of class and professionalism!!!

Magnificent place to discover or rediscover

Magnificent place in the middle of the vineyards. Perfect for a relaxing moment for two

Everything was successful with Hugo for this tasting visit to Château Léognan: very professional, very accessible, very interesting in addition to a very beautiful site. We tasted a rosé, a white and two red wines. The place is very calming, the buildings superb, the history of the vineyard is atypical, the chapel moving, the vines in their haven of peace. We then had lunch at the restaurant "Le manège" on site under "the yurt", a very pleasant culinary moment. We will undoubtedly come back to enjoy a weekend on site in one of the cabins and enjoy treatments at the spa in the heart of nature. We highly recommend!

Memorable experience, the castle is superb and the staff are just as superb. The guided tour is definitely worth it; our guide Hugo is clearly passionate about his work and knows how to convey his love of wine.
