Pizzeria Valentino sur Moulins

Superb place, quality in its well-stocked dishes. Reservations strongly suggested around the world. The only downside is that you have to eat there "quickly", to certainly provide several services.

I ate very well. I took the last pizza on the menu and I enjoyed it! I often have trouble finishing pizza but not tonight. The waiters were all adorable and attentive. The interior is new and very clean. I'll come back to it next week

On a tourist visit to Moulins (which is, by the way, a very interesting city), the gastro restaurants that I had selected being closed due to summer holidays, chance made me pass in front of this Italian restaurant in which I found myself stopped with the apprehension of making me c…! Nay! There I found a very pleasant place with a beautiful room with stone walls offering freshness, which was welcome, top-notch staff, friendly and remarkably efficient and a kitchen, certainly one can found elsewhere, but tasty and hearty. A place where everyone seems happy, servers and customers alike. I recommend.

The reception was average, but nothing dramatic. I had a duck breast salad. 3 mini pieces of duck with not very fresh “bag” salad. Maybe it wasn't the right day, but it was still a bad experience.

I was a little disappointed with the pizza. The dough does not look like pizza dough. In any case it does not rest for 48 hours as indicated in a comment. She's too thin. Single size of 28cm Cooking is electric, not over a wood fire, and the tomato sauce lacks salt. I took the Valentino with merguez (5 pieces in a corner, not left for the pizza. Same for the pieces of artichokes. The service was OK. Nothing to say. And the prices are correct. 16 euros max for the pizzas .

So-so... No doubt, we came across the exception which proves the rule, but ours (server) was not at all friendly. Very unfriendly. No recommendation. Feeling like you're bothering him... I really hope you don't run into him. The rest of the staff seemed very friendly. Luckily, the pizzas were very good. Delicious. The perfect dough, quality products. Small downside about the opening at 7 p.m., it's a bit tight. People line up and double... Obviously. It's a good address but I can't recommend it if you come across this server.

A great pizzeria in Moulins that I recommend, especially the dishes other than pizzas.
