22/03/2026: A perfect welcome, warm, attentive yet discreet, and truly delicious and refined cuisine. Bravo to the whole team! Our only slight regret, but one that didn't spoil our delightful lunch, was the small size of the two dining rooms.
14/03/2026: We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary there. Guillaume's talent and inventiveness delighted our taste buds; from the salmon to the praline éclair, everything was delicious. His partner provided attentive and friendly service, and we had an unforgettable time.
Thank you both, we will be back soon because every meal is a wonderful discovery.

30/05/2026: For our lunch, we ordered two well-done burgers, as we don't like our meat rare. However, the waitress brought us two flank steaks.
I immediately pointed out that this wasn't what we had ordered, since we had asked for two burgers. She seemed very surprised and replied that she had thought we meant "two flank steaks."
Since the waitress didn't apologize, didn't offer to change the dishes to what we had ordered, or make any effort to resolve the misunderstanding, we decided to keep the food, out of politeness and to avoid a tense situation. However, we quickly realized that the meat was still rare inside. I personally tried eating the more cooked parts, but it wasn't enough. So, we finally decided to leave the restaurant.
What's particularly regrettable is that at no point, neither at the table nor when paying, did the waitress apologize for this mistake.
When we brought up the issue at the end of the meal, her reaction was particularly unpleasant. She even suggested that the misunderstanding might have been due to my foreign accent. I found this remark completely inappropriate and disrespectful. It's the first time I've ever experienced such a situation in a restaurant. I simply replied that there's a significant difference between the words "burger" and "bavette," which makes such confusion difficult to understand.
Instead of acknowledging her mistake, she feigned surprise that we wanted to leave. She then offered us a discount of €10 by charging us for two burgers instead of the two bavettes we were served. I thanked her for the offer, but explained that even with the discount, the meal was neither what we had ordered nor what we had actually eaten.
I tried to remind her that the mistake wasn't ours, especially since she hadn't even bothered to write down our order. Visibly annoyed, she turned her back on me and went to find the manager.
When explaining the situation to her manager, the waitress presented it as a simple misunderstanding, implying that we bore some responsibility. Then she went back to her shift.
The manager, on the other hand, was calmer and more professional. She apologized for the misunderstanding and confirmed the €10 discount. She referred to it as a simple human error, which I can completely understand. However, what I find less understandable is that after bringing us the wrong order, the waitress immediately assumed it was what we had ordered, without questioning her own understanding, without offering to replace the dishes with the burgers we ordered, and without offering the slightest apology.
I also mentioned to the manager the comment about my foreign accent, but this elicited no particular reaction.
I left this experience deeply disappointed and upset. An order mistake can happen in any establishment. What makes the difference is how it's handled. Here, the most shocking thing isn't the mistake itself, but the complete lack of apology and the way we were made to feel responsible for a fault that wasn't ours.
I won't be returning to this restaurant. If you decide to go anyway, I advise you to clearly enunciate each word of your order, or you risk receiving a different dish than the one you asked for.
I do not recommend this establishment. The service, the waitress's attitude, and the lack of consideration for customers make me absolutely not want to return.

Out of politeness, I kept the plate until I noticed the meat was still bloody inside. I didn't eat any of it, as I hate that.

I found this remark disrespectful. The word "burger" is used everywhere, and I travel a lot; this is the first time I've encountered this kind of situation in a restaurant.
The most disappointing thing was the lack of apology and the way we were made to feel responsible for an order error. This experience truly disgusted me and left me with a very bad memory of this establishment. The older woman who served us should perhaps take a notebook, write down the orders, and ask customers to repeat them, because surely there will be other people with an accent who will be hungry for a dish that appeals to them.
I do not recommend this restaurant: the service, the attitude, and the lack of consideration for customers make me not want to return.

A warm welcome from all the very smiling but natural and professional staff, impeccable cleanliness from floor to ceiling and on the table, spotless glasses and all the other tableware, a small homemade aperitif with amuse-bouche, perfect tagliatelle, and homemade desserts too, very good coffee, and excellent advice on our wine choice from one of the waitresses, which wasn't necessarily the most expensive bottle. So don't hesitate to push open the door of Valentino, you'll leave delighted, we'll definitely be back.

12/06/2026: We ordered three meals, two with chicken and one with lamb. They were good, but the portion size—three small pieces of meat in each meal—was really insufficient. You should specify this on your menus because for rice, sauce, and a tablespoon of salad, it's a bit pricey. It's a shame because otherwise, the food was good.

09/04/2026: An absolutely incredible experience at La Gloria restaurant in Ludres! From the moment you step inside, you're charmed by the elegant and welcoming decor, which creates an atmosphere that's both cozy and refined. The place isn't noisy, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends.
The service is impeccable, with very friendly and attentive staff. A big thank you to our server, Bastien, for his warm welcome and helpful advice throughout the meal!
As for the food, it's a real treat. I savored the beef pear, a tender and perfectly cooked dish, my partner enjoyed an exceptional pizza, and our children loved their pasta, simple yet delicious. Everything was fresh, generous, and prepared with care.
A perfect place for a successful dinner, combining excellent cuisine, a pleasant atmosphere, and top-notch service. We will definitely be back!

The food was excellent, with very good quality (organic, local) ingredients and homemade cuisine. A major plus: vegetarian options were available.
The decor is very nice and the place was quite cool despite the heat.
We recommend it.

In short, you can go there without hesitation, and as a bonus, the full menu is only €25, offering such high quality—you simply can't miss it! A huge thank you to the owner who welcomed and served us. We truly had a marvelous time!
