Cute café that is a bit hidden. But directly opposite the tourist office. Wonderful selection of small snacks and pastries, everything is great and the coffee tastes good too. Friendly staff, highly recommended. Best price/performance ratio. After a bad experience yesterday in Portes en Ré, this felt really good!

Envie d'un petit café en terrasse rapide. Ce petit salon de thé propose un service au comptoir. Ce qui permet de gagner du temps. Café à un prix raisonnable et personnel agréable

If you are cycling around the northern coast of L’ile de Re this is a must pit stop. Superb patisserie at very reasonable prices. Cakes, quiche, baguettes and bread enough to make you drool. Seating outdoors under umbrellas. Plenty of bike racks the square and market area.

11/10/2025: We had the fish of the day: maigre. A house recommendation. We didn't regret it: very tasty, perfectly cooked and seasoned, served with sweet potato mash. The price was absolutely reasonable. The service was very nice and friendly. We would come back!

07/01/2026: A very pleasant lunch break. The setting is lovely, the staff are welcoming, the service is efficient, and we ate well. Despite not having a reservation, we were accommodated, and this lunch break during a winter walk was much appreciated.
