28/07/2026: I'm revising my opinion downwards because the owner changed in 2024 and the quality isn't the same anymore, whether it's the pastries, cakes, or bread. The croissants sold at Spar are much better. The iconic Saulnier is nothing like the one we used to buy a few years ago. The fruit tarts are decent.
There's no longer a queue in the morning outside this establishment, which speaks volumes.

02/09/2026: Forgotten (for a pint), a deserted terrace at 3 pm with the lunchtime dishes still uncleared, and two waitresses who were completely exhausted, dragging their feet and, to top it off, being unpleasant and far from welcoming! They were settling scores in front of the customers over who would do the overtime... catastrophic behavior! Luckily, there was a waiter who saved the day; he must have a tough time of it...
27/08/2026: Fantastic experience! The crepes are divine, as are the tartare and fish. The staff are incredibly attentive and efficient, and the location is charming. A must-visit in Loix.

28/06/2024: Des produits extra frais délicieux ! Un cadre très agréable, une équipe sympathique et efficace. Nous nous sommes régalés avec les fruits de mer mais aussi avec les desserts.
Tout y est pour passer un agréable moment 😋🙂👌
17/06/2024: Dégustation de fruits de mer sur une terrasse sympa. Service impeccable et personnel très agréable. Petit blanc de l'île de ré bien agréable.
