We just spent five days in Loix and went there every morning. The welcome was warm and friendly, even when we were unsure what to order. The traditional baguette, the fisherman's bread, the rye bread, the spelt bread, the corn bread, and the pavé rethaise were all delicious. As for the pastries, the braided loaf and the apple turnover deserve special mention. A place to share and cherish.

At this time of year, there's not much choice in the display case for a light snack. The large, sunny square is a pleasant place to sit. Apparently, there are technical issues with the tills, but oh well, we're going back to the old ways: a piece of paper, a pen, and we calculate everything ourselves. Thank you to the saleswomen for their kindness.

03/06/2026: We've been coming to this restaurant for several years now, always with great pleasure. Today, disappointment! We came to eat fish! Alas, only two options: mullet or fish and chips (no more scallop risotto). The quality is no longer there, what a shame!
31/05/2026: You really have to want to stop in Loix to eat; there are few signs and little parking. Otherwise, the meal is simple but good.
