En hyper centre de Niort, un restaurant avec une agréable terrasse ouverte à l’étage. Dans l’assiette, c’est très bien aussi: excellent croque à la truffe, porc et poulpe très goûteux. Service efficace. Grosse connaissance sur le vin. Une adresse recommandée.
Very good address, very good, very creative cuisine. Especially the veal medallion accompanied by its morel sauce. Unfortunately, the wine was hot and we were offered to add ice cubes! It might be wise to invest in a wine cellar that matches the quality of the restaurant.
This is the second time that I have had the pleasure, in the company of my wife, of taking advantage of the “sharing and pleasure” formula.
The chef and the owner of the place make sure to sublimate our wines (in this case a Yquem 97 and a Bonnes Mares 2009 from Bruno Clair) with a menu created to measure to highlight our bottles.
Result: a magnificent experience, original and always perfect pairings which perfectly enhance these nectars by making them travel throughout our taste buds.
A big thank you to Christophe and the Chef for this superb moment in complete conviviality with a welcome always up to standard.
