Plaisir d'Etangs sur Saint-Nizier-Le-Desert

What a pleasure to have lunch at Au Plaisir d'Étang! On July 14th, we were welcomed with great kindness, simplicity, and professionalism. The dishes were perfect, prepared with quality ingredients and so beautifully presented! The goujonnettes and frog legs were excellent! The service was attentive and kind (thank you again, madam!). The shaded terrace is a charming little haven. A place where you feel comfortable and want to return. Thank you to everyone at this restaurant who worked to make this lunch...a truly delightful experience!

We ordered two frog leg menus, which were very good. However, we asked if it would be possible to have two small potato gratins, but the waitress didn't respond. Instead, she served us small potato blinis; there were ten of them to share between two people. They were overcooked, and we were disappointed for a €36 menu. For dessert, we had a slice of apple tart, a scoop of ice cream, and a dollop of whipped cream. I was disappointed by the apple tart, which wasn't homemade. So, to sum up, the frog leg menu is overpriced for what it offers.

We had a very good meal on the terrace, in peace and quiet. The frogs' legs were perfect.

There were four of us. We had a great meal. The menu was small but high quality. Special mention to the waitress who was very friendly!

We booked a table for 16 and found a charming place, decorated in country colors, where we felt right at home. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The dishes were beautifully presented and, above all, the food was delicious. From the children's menu to the frog leg menu, and even the chef's special: a delight! 😋 We highly recommend stepping into this restaurant for a pleasant experience. 👌✨
