This was our first visit to L'Estaminet, based on a personal recommendation. We received a warm welcome at the entrance before being seated at our table. I went to the restroom, which is part of the experience in a restaurant or a traditional Flemish pub; I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the essential bin with a lid, which isn't always the case in other restaurants. The service was excellent throughout the meal, without us being rushed to leave the table. The young waitresses were very polite, as was the manager, who was always smiling and attentive to our needs. The decor was typical of a traditional Flemish pub, bringing back memories of my childhood. We will definitely return when the opportunity arises. Congratulations!

Every time I come back to the North, this is the restaurant I want to eat at. A charmingly decorated and impeccably clean bistro with warm service and, let's not forget, delicious food. A true pleasure reminiscent of yesteryear 🥰

We kept driving past it and decided to stop for dinner. Nice living room atmosphere, friendly people, and delicious food! We had homemade terrine, snails, and smoked salmon, followed by potted beef, carbonade, la ficelle picarde, and homemade beef tartare. For dessert, we had eau de vie de bière and pain perdu. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
