Poivre et Sel sur Penvenan

21/05/2026: While hiking the GR34, we chose this hotel as a stopover. Hikers, beware: on Mondays and Tuesdays, reception opens at 5 pm (at this time of year?). The service wasn't entirely reliable: our main course order at dinner got lost; we weren't offered a choice of sandwiches for the next day. But the food was good, and the sandwiches were good. Large, pleasant room with a beautiful sea view.

13/05/2026: On the GR34 hiking trail. Simple but comfortable room. The room was well-ventilated but a bit chilly when you first arrive. Very nice location on the GR34. The bar is quite lively. Breakfast is affordable, and packed lunches are available for hikers for €12. Guests are welcome from 5:00 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge.
