Poivre Rouge is a great grill restaurant with a good selection of grilled meat dishes 🍖 The staff is very attentive to customers, which is very pleasant 👨‍💼 Dogs are welcome in the dining room 🐕 The set menus are reasonably priced, and the option to order any dessert from the menu as an extra is a nice touch 🍨

We usually come on Father's Day; the service was a bit slow, apparently due to a change in the kitchen. The waitstaff were friendly.

17/09/2026: Great place, I highly recommend it! We had a wonderful meal. Everything was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the price was reasonable (4 house drinks, 3 large main courses, and a side of sweet potato fries came to €60). The owner is very friendly; he gives it 4 stars for the atmosphere. The only thing missing is that a little music would have been perfect. We know where to eat next time we're in Montpellier.

17/09/2026: I'm back today, two years after my first (very positive) review. A huge thank you to the two gentlemen who were there this evening (September 17, 2026) for their kindness and warm welcome! The gentleman who usually serves me is always lovely, smiling, and very kind; it's always a pleasure to be served by him. And a special mention to the new gentleman, who seems to have only been there for a few days: what kindness! 🥹 He truly goes above and beyond with the customers, showing incredible attentiveness and kindness. I think I've rarely met such a kind person in a fast-food restaurant! Thank you both for this wonderful welcome, don't change a thing! Good welcome, friendly staff, fast service. We came this afternoon around 3 pm, and there were still all the possible choices available. I highly recommend it.
