This cafe has some fancy beans on offer. However, the standard long black that I had was also very good and tasty.
The barista mentioned that they are part of a chain and other outlets use different beans and recipes (vibes are different too).
The coffee is always good, and makes me glad to be living 3 doors down whenever I visit Paris. Hours are more dependable (open when they say they’d open) than Tiba nearby.
the best coffee i've tried in paris so far. it's so good it actually makes me want to go back to paris just to drink it. they also sell their own coffee beans which are also excellent.
i don't really eat when i go here since they don't have much and the focus is completely on the coffee so there's nothing in particular i can actually recommend. the space is small so i would say it's best if you just walk-in and order to-go and just drink the coffee at the square that's literally a block away.
but do go cause it's incredible.
Located in Marais, this award-winning place is for the serious coffee enthusiast. There's no food, no matcha - just coffee. And they roast a variety of beans from different places - different bourbon, geisha, etc. Beware it can get v. crowded.
Since Kawa moved to Tanat and the staff changed, the coffee isn't as good, they're now serving overly bitter coffees. It's a shame, I loved it when Kawa was there.
