Pola Melting Bolws sur Strasbourg

03/12/2024: Pasamos unos días en Estrasburgo y probamos varios winstubs. Entre ellos, la Vieille enseigne era el favorito de todos. Puede que no tenga el encanto de Winstubs más viejos pero cuando se trata de la comida, absolutamente lo aplasta. Su choucroute fue de lejos el mejor que tuvimos y también lo fue su tarte a l oignon. Los camareros están muy ocupados pero disfrutan conectando con personas que están interesadas en su región: uno de ellos nos hizo descubrir el más increíble eaux de vie (aguardiente de frutas) Si yo fuera un lugareño, esto se convertiría en mi lugar para comer deliciosa comida local!

21/09/2024: Last night when we were in Strasbourg we spontaneously stopped by and got a table for three people (2 adults and a child). What can you say: exactly the right choice! A beautifully decorated "Winstub" in the middle of Strasbourg with a small, fine menu that reflects the region very well. We had snails and veal head as an entrée, followed by zander on Riesling cabbage and beef fillet on chanterelles. The cheese variations were finally the final point. All courses were top: cooked to perfection and very excellent. The children's menu for the little ones also left nothing to be desired. If the food already made you happy, this was further increased by the very harmoniously put together wine list, which, in addition to the "big names", also includes other wineries that were previously unknown to the author. Browsing was fun and the bottle we selected was even more fun :-). Friendly and attentive service made the visit a wonderful evening. A big thank you to the whole team for this lovely evening.
