Restaurant for EATING...!! Gargantuan, simple and good...plus a magnificent setting on the banks of the Allier

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the AOM-TDM association in Auvergne received an extraordinary welcome at the "Pont Pakowski" restaurant in Nonette. The owner's warm welcome, the excellent menu, the chef's surprises, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff all combined to ensure the members had a wonderful time in the tradition of the Armed Forces. Without flattery, we thank you for the quality of your welcome. We will be back!

A very pleasant place. The food was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed the very generous portions. The service was very friendly, with smiling and pleasant waitresses.

Excellent, unpretentious restaurant, perfect for a good time and a satisfying meal, as the food is delicious and the portions are generous. The welcome is truly warm and friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Parking is easy in the adjacent lot.

A traditional, down-to-earth, and hearty open-air café. Of course, it's not haute cuisine, but it's genuine. You're comfortable under the trees, by the banks of the Allier River. Efficient and quick service. Reasonable bill.

I just ate there tonight. The welcome was very warm and friendly; I had a small table away from the main dining area so I could have some peace and quiet with my little dog. Honestly, the portions are incredibly generous, the charcuterie board is huge, and the pizzas are topped with amazing ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What the hell is this crazy?!?! A magical place with a pure guinguette feel, plates full of delicacies that I challenge you to finish without taking a betaine citrate to survive, the most pleasant and friendly service... in short, I'm crazy about this establishment 🔥

Great restaurant with great food. Salads and pizza were fab and the home made crème brûlée was perfect. The staff were amazing too. Excellent value for money. Would totally recommend.
