This was a great find. The owners are lovely and proved excellent food and service. It was so good we went back for a second night. I would recommend the seafood linguine but all of us enjoyed our meals on both occasions.

Wonderful cheerful owner, who complements the lively atmosphere of the restaurant and delicious cuisine. We had swordfish and ravioli with ricotta: the portions were large and cooked very tasty. The neighbors ordered pasta with seafood - huge mouth-watering dishes! Beautiful. Prices are pleasant. 3 main courses and a bottle of wine - 100 euros. I advise you to book a table, because as a rule everything is taken for dinner👌

Truly one of the best carbonara’s I’ve ever had, even compared to well-known spots in NYC and Rome! The guanciale was perfectly crispy and the sauce was incredibly well balanced. This was such a gem during my time in Nice, and I really appreciated the quick and warm service!

Go for it without hesitation! The service is top-notch, the food delicious (the pasta with clams is something else!!) and our children were treated like royalty. Plus, it's in a great location, in a lively neighborhood. I recommend it 100%!

The seafood pasta and shrimp risotto were the best we had in Nice. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente - the Italian way with the right hardness. This restaurant was far better than several other restaurants we tried based on AI recommendations! The owner was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming throughout our meal. The guests seated next to us even said it was their second day in a row eating here, which says a lot! Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a divine place to eat in Nice without falling into the usual tourist traps, this restaurant is a real gem. I was there recently and was absolutely thrilled with the experience. Here are the highlights that won me over: -Excellent food: We ate truly delicious. The dishes are carefully crafted, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the traditional flavors are showcased to their fullest, without too many frills but with plenty of substance. -Really generous portions: The dishes are rich and generous. You leave the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. -More than fair prices: It's rare to find such a good value for money. The final bill was a pleasant surprise, absolutely fair for the quantity and quality of the food. The staff was friendly and the service was very quick, which made lunch even more enjoyable. If you're in Nice and want to be sure, this is the place to go. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

19/07/2026: A verdant setting for exquisite flavors. As customers for many years, we have always appreciated the restaurant thanks to its warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, and of course, the delicious and generous portions of fresh Italian cuisine. Building on this experience, we chose La Locanda to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on July 12th with family and friends. It was extraordinary and unforgettable. Audrey, the owner, prepared a buffet for us in a private section of the garden. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The buffet was beautifully presented, very generous, and offered something for everyone: super crispy focaccia, refined Italian charcuterie, Vitello Tonnato (a delight!), delicious tuna and marlin, melon and ham, grilled vegetables, cheese... I'm sure I'm forgetting some! And to finish, a delicious fruit-based cake. Moreover, the value for money is unbeatable. This wonderful day delighted our guests and inspired others to do the same. Thank you again to Audrey and Paolo for their warm welcome, their organization, their professionalism, and also for their kindness and expertise. See you very soon.
