Bavette steak with an inedible portion.
Excellent roasted Camembert. Well-cooked fries.
Friendly welcome; the waitress was sorry about these issues.

The meal was very good. We had booked for Sunday lunch. The service was very friendly. The only downside was that only the à la carte dishes were available. I would have liked to try the miner's dish on the menu. All the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are homemade. Next time I'll ask about the menu options by calling ahead.

Being from the Ardennes, I went to Béthune without really knowing where to eat… and what a wonderful surprise!
I discovered a warm and welcoming place, with the kind of friendly atmosphere we love. You feel at ease from the moment you walk in, with a warm welcome and a simple yet authentic ambiance.
The food is simple, unpretentious, but truly delicious. The ingredients are well-prepared, the portions are generous, and above all, it's bursting with flavor. You can tell it's made with love.
Honestly, a fantastic find. It just goes to show that even outside the Ardennes, you can stumble upon hidden gems!
I highly recommend it 👌

We came on Valentine's Day evening. The menu was delicious and well-presented.
The staff was friendly, a real pleasure. We witnessed a lack of common sense from other customers who complained about not having dessert, even though they had asked to wait before it was served. My partner and I had a good laugh!
It takes a lot of courage and composure in this line of work; we experienced that firsthand tonight as customers. I recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The presentation of the dishes was excellent. Our only slight complaint was the table... there were traces of coffee and salt left over from the previous course.

Excellent food, very friendly and pleasant service. The owner is really nice and the decor is rustic and beautiful. The "Miner's Platter" was a delicious introduction to northern cuisine, and for dessert, the chicory crème brûlée was superb 😋.
