Poulaillon sur Colmar

Very good selection of fresh sandwiches. Two sizes with lots of different ingredients. Took awhile to decide. 😉 Recommend if you are looking for a quick bite to refuel while enjoying site seeing in Colmar. And inexpensive… Seating available inside and outside.

We just stumbled upon Poulaillon looking for breakfast on our 1st morning in Colmar, and what a treat! They have a large selection of breads, pastries, baked goods and ready made sandwiches and great coffee! The staff were helpful despite our language deficiencies and it instantly became our 'go to' place for breakfast for the rest of our trip! Highly recommend!

The only place in the Little Venice area of ​​Colmar where you can find coffee, a sandwich, and a cake without feeling uncomfortable for not ordering lunch like in all the restaurants in the area. 4-5 tables outside, a counter inside, a small salad with slices of schnitzel is definitely enough for lunch at a ridiculous price.

The food at Poulaillon is generally tasty and the freshness is good. Unfortunately, it was very noisy in the shop during my visit, making communication with the staff difficult and hard to understand. There's also room for improvement in the quality of the baked goods, as some items were quite dry. While the staff were friendly, overall the experience could be better.

It's a lovely place at lunchtime, with its shaded tables and the street breezy and cool air. The croissants are delicious. The pretzel bagel was fresh, but we found the cheese a little salty. The tart was very tasty. The cream filling was light and pleasant. It's a great place for a short break during the day. I would just prefer that they put the croissants and bagels on a tray on napkins instead of directly on a plate.
