Wir haben hier am Mittag leckere Crêpes gegessen. Auf den Service mussten wir leider über 15 Minuten warten und auf die Bestellung dann nochmals knapp 45 Minuten. Das ist zu lange, auch wenn das Personal freundlich war.

Fast and efficient service. Ideal when you are hungry in the middle of the afternoon. The lady was very welcoming and available. Very good cider :)

While visiting Bayeux we stopped at this creperie. the best, 100% buckwheat pancake, great for people allergic to gluten. on the other hand, the salted butter caramel crepe needs to be reviewed because it was not cooked at all on both sides, only one side was allowed in the crepe maker. Too bad to end the meal on that note.

La maison blanche

25/06/2025: A unique experience, not for everyone. One of the few places open on Sunday. Owner is friendly, although sometimes engaging in a very sarcastic way. Our food was OK, filet was not a filet, but other cut of meat. Lamb was good, and seafood bisque had split and was only mussels (although still tasty). You have to be prepared for the owner to engage you, it is not a place to go for a quiet meal.
19/06/2025: Terrific place! We were in Bayeux celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and this was our first meal upon arrival. The food was wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner was very welcoming and warm - made us feel right at home. We shared stories and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed atmosphere, a good meal and great music too.
