POUTINEBROS sur Rennes

This is the first time I've eaten a Quebec dish, Poutine. I have some Quebec YouTubers who recommended that I go and eat this dish one day when I go to hang out in Rennes or elsewhere, and I really enjoyed it. It's very filling, but the atmosphere is great.

I went there for my birthday with my friend Maggy and I was very well received; the staff are very welcoming and the toilets are spacious.

Great restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, and the poutines are delicious. We really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly; even though there were only two of them in the kitchen, they took the time to answer our questions and were very helpful and kind to the children!

One negative point: the team is incredible

My dream was to eat poutine, my dream has come true, and it's incredible. Impressive skill during the stressful period of football and the French Revolution. Impressive, well done. (The cup stays with football, not at home.)

In my opinion, the fries were unfortunately overcooked and a bit dark. Ordering from a vending machine in English and French is easy and straightforward, which is great. There's a clean, unisex restroom. The price-performance ratio is borderline. The ambiance is cool and the place was clean. Unfortunately, the fish option isn't available, or at least not at the moment. We would have been very interested in that.

I got their platinum blonde poutine and the portion was pretty big. As a snack/light dinner it was perfect for 2 people. I wish their serving size of meat was a little bigger but besides that the fries were great. Super crunchy and the toppings were also nice. I think their gravy was okay, kinda wish it tasted more meaty but that's my personal preference. It was still super good and even after my trip I'm thinking about it. The service was okay, they gave us the wrong item twice. That wrong item was the Pogos. The Pogos were okay nothing special, just a fried sausage. But the sauce that comes with it was flavourful and nice. I came during the summer, and at that time the indoors dining area was really hot and smelled like grease. Thankfully they had an outdoors area which was nice and breezy. Overall if your in the area I think it's worth to try and they have some pretty good food. I'd definitely try the burgers next time.
