Prao sur La Rochelle

A wonderful discovery not far from the Port of La Rochelle. The overall atmosphere is warm and inviting, a large, well-decorated room with a great playlist playing in the background. The staff gave us a very warm welcome; they were friendly and helpful. As for the meal, the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the dishes offered. The plates are beautifully presented and colorful. It's refreshing to see a menu that's a departure from the usual "classic" restaurants. And above all, it's delicious! The dishes are well-prepared (including the vegetarian option) and the flavors are fantastic. I highly recommend this place and I won't hesitate to go back!

Excellent culinary experience with a warm and intimate atmosphere

A restaurant just the way I like them with my family. Friendly, very welcoming, and they took great care of me, given my many food allergies. A huge thank you to the chef and the waitstaff for your personalized service. And yes, the water is particularly delicious!

Absolutely perfect! Lunchtime experience: unbeatable value for money! Creative cuisine, beautifully presented in a very pleasant atmosphere. The vegetarian dishes on offer are also excellent. We will definitely be back.

We made a reservation for Valentine's Day, having never been to this place before, and we absolutely don't regret our choice! The service is cheerful and friendly, the food is absolutely divine (the best meat I've ever eaten), all in a convivial atmosphere. Plus, the restaurant is ideally located in the heart of La Rochelle. A must-try!

Excellent establishment! This is our second time here as a couple, and we still love it. The food is good, simple yet refined. The flavor is always there. My only slight criticism is the portion sizes, which are a tad small for my taste (but I do have a sweet tooth!). Sometimes the dishes tend to be "swallowed" by the green salad. But it's so well prepared and seasoned that this is a minor point! The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The charm of the establishment is a real plus and perfectly reflects the spirit and energy of the waiters and waitresses. They are all smiling and in good spirits. Oh, and regarding the restrooms, they are very clean, however, the handwashing tap is rather short and not very practical 😅. There's also a lack of a coat hook inside. PS: The chocolate dessert is exquisite.
