A nice, well-located Pret à Manger, with a barista who is attentive and dedicated to his work!

Excellent vegetarian sandwich accompanied by the ever-popular Peach Me Up; a fairly quiet place to work, apart from the traffic noise on Boulevard Haussmann and the slightly loud music.

A great place! It's cheaper than Cojean for the same high quality. The matcha frappé is excellent, and there's a wide selection of drinks. I recommend it!

Events that took place on August 29, 2026. I was with my mother, finishing lunch. My mother asked me if I wanted dessert so she could buy some. A Black man wearing a khaki t-shirt called out to us, saying, “I only ordered soup from Pret A Manger, and I’d like a main course, like a large quiche, please.” We didn’t respond. Then this man went on to tell us he was homeless, that he’d spent all his welfare benefits, and that he had nothing to live on or even to eat—all while using his latest Samsung phone. We got up to throw away the cardboard packaging from our meals. He called us sluts, told us to go fuck our mothers, our grandmothers, our fathers. A whole torrent of insults. We went to complain to the waiter who told us, “Oh yes, we know him. He’s crazy. Just ignore him.” Well, that made us leave. We won’t be going back. Good luck with that man.
