If you are in Clermont-Ferrand then you have to try the "La véritable truffade d’Auvergne" at this place!!! A local specialty that was incredible.

The four of us came and had a wonderful time. The place is superb, with beautiful decor and a magnificent bar. The waiter was very pleasant, attentive, and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and will gladly return!

We had a fantastic time at Le Lion! It was really delicious, with excellent value for money. I would have liked to include photos of more than just the starter, but I devoured everything, despite a very generous portion of fries. The overall atmosphere is really pleasant, with the added bonus of some of the staff's comedic talents. Contrary to some reviews, we had Jeanne, who was incredibly kind and remarkably calm when a passerby stole a chair. +3 points for the entertainment. The place has also been tastefully renovated, and the decor is truly stunning.

It was a record hot day and it was fresh inside. My server and the others who assisted were kind and attentive with my poor French. My steak could have been a better cut but the price was adequate and the side salad was very tasty. The fries were a little weird but I think overall it was a good meal.

Our go-to spot when we're out and about in town. A professional, dynamic, and very helpful team. The food is delicious, varied, and plentiful. Responding to a comment from someone named Sofiane (who seems to think he's divinely ordained), the waitress, Jeanne, is absolutely lovely, polite, and able to chat with anyone about anything. Having dealt with her before and seen her with other customers, she also seems to possess a broad and eclectic general knowledge, and her English is a real asset.
