Quaint place, good food and friendly staff. The flaw is when you get the bill which is a little salty and on the paper menu it isn't very clear and so you get a surprise at the end.

Every time we come to Paris we come to eat at the Tavern. This time we came two evenings, once we ate Raclette and once Tartiflette. Everything delicious!!! The atmosphere is fantastic, the owner is very kind!

Incredible place, coming down from the basilica, they speak many languages and are very attentive, the prices are excellent and the food is sufficient, highly recommended for a brunch after a good walk

A small, typically French, family-run restaurant in the middle of the Montmartre district. The hosts were very friendly. Inside it's very quaint, really nice. You can also sit very well outside right on the sidewalk. Since the weather was very good, we sat outside. Since the restaurant is located a bit away from the hustle and bustle, we didn't find the people passing by annoying. If you want to sit inside, we recommend making a reservation or bringing your time, as the shop is relatively small and therefore fills up quickly. We had a cheese plate and bread as a starter with the wine. For the main course we had the cheese fondue. Everything tasted excellent. I would definitely include La Taverne de Montmartre when visiting Paris.

lovely place, lovely people, but the food is a bit underwhelming and overpriced. i ordered the soupe à l’oignon and bœuf bourguignon, and i’ve had better. there are lots of good options in the area at similar price.
