Puycelsi Roc Café sur Puycelsi

Super friendly, the view is amazing, located at the top of Puycelsi, this café-restaurant offers a lovely, simple and concise menu that sticks to the same old favorites, like the Aubrac ground steak with homemade fries, which really whetted our appetite for lunch after a delicious aperitif. The desserts are delicious in a salad with a choice of cheese or charcuterie. The desserts are homemade and local 😊 a special mention for the apple and walnut cake! The ice creams/sorbets are also excellent, especially the Williams pear sorbet, which is quite rare to find in restaurants. And a decent menu, no fuss, and very well priced! Local wines, both organic and regular, from Isle-sur-Tarn and elsewhere, made from Syrah, Merlot, etc., are also available for purchase inside the restaurant. The terrace is pleasant even in the middle of summer with the vines covering it. And what can I say about the fantastic and super-friendly staff! Fabulous restaurant. 18 people from the same family went for lunch. We were given a table by calling the same day and were seated on a very pleasant terrace with spectacular views. The food was excellent, and the service, especially from the owner, was unbeatable. He was very friendly and attentive, making the meal an unforgettable experience. A must-see if you visit this beautiful town.

A cafe-restaurant at the edge of the village on top of a cliff with an amazing view. Some of the outdoor seating areas are covered by thick, beautiful vegetation.
