The city center is super cute; come during the carnival, the street festival "Chalon dans la rue," and the hot air balloon festival. Lovely moments in a welcoming city.

Excellent station, with a huge number of destinations and frequent service. The station is clean, but sometimes the toilets are out of order.

A beautiful city in Burgundy, with places to visit, events, and a mayor who doesn't take any nonsense.

The station is fairly well-served, but the major drawback is the lack of an elevator to change platforms or to exit the station when you have luggage or are in a wheelchair... Edit 2026: FINALLY, ELEVATORS!
