Passing through Royan, we stopped at this restaurant, located on the seafront (in the renovated part of Royan). We received a very warm welcome, the waiters were friendly, and the prices are average (except for the 50cl bottle of mineral water at 6 euros, which is a bit steep). The meal was good and of high quality, and the wait was quick (mid-September). We will return on our next visit.

Basic seaside cuisine, gets the job done without being unpleasant, but nothing special either. Nice terrace. Efficient service. Note that the terrace tables are narrow.
