Despite a warm welcome and good service, the food doesn't quite live up to expectations. The frog leg and eel fricassee is far too overcooked, and the pike-perch in lemon sauce lacks zest; it's rather bland... a shame, but we still had a pleasant time near the water in a friendly atmosphere.

We discovered this place during a stroll through the village and decided to try the menu.
The meal was good and very well presented.
The staff who served us were very friendly; unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the owner, which is a shame.

The marsh-style pan-fried eel and the duo were exquisite. The frog legs were cooked perfectly, and the homemade garlic and parsley was delicious. I had never tasted eel before; it was a pleasant surprise.

I disagree with the last two reviews... The frog legs were perfectly cooked, delicious, and the same goes for the dessert, the butter and sugar crepe made to order, absolutely divine... in short, a quality restaurant and friendly staff...

I know the chef personally, and those who criticize so-called frozen food are sorely mistaken. They can't tell the difference between frozen and fresh, especially someone like Philippe H. who can't distinguish between good home-cooked food and McDonald's…
