A pleasant place with two choices for the daily special: beef chuck roast or fish and chips. We ordered one of each, and both were very good. We arrived for lunch at 1:30 pm and were well served. A pretty little village.

It's there that Chef Salamolard has been working almost every day for what seems like forever. He is one of the greatest experts on Morvan mushrooms, surrounded by his staff. And let's not forget the impressive wine cellar, perfect for squab, Burgundy snails, and other delicacies. My wife fell in love with Mr. Salamolard's soufflés. If you'd like to meet him or visit him again, hurry, because he's increasingly talking about gradually retiring from the restaurant business.
