18/08/2026: While passing through Angoulême, we stumbled upon this restaurant which was a real treat! Superb food and the menus were more than generous considering the size of the place, it was excellent!
07/08/2026: We stumbled upon this little restaurant after 1 p.m., not expecting much in terms of quality, but everything was excellent, including the children's menu. Hand-cut meat, homemade nuggets, delicious fries: you can tell everything is homemade, and the service is friendly. The lunch special at €11.50 for the dish of the day, a glass of wine, and coffee is perfect. The table next to us was having fondue. At lunchtime in August, it must be good!

16/08/2026: Friendly and welcoming staff. It's a shame the air conditioning wasn't working.
10/08/2026: I'm sorry I had to remove a star because the servers are incredibly kind and welcoming, the pastries are delicious, and the decor is lovely. The reason I'm taking away a star is that no one dares to reprimand the inconsiderate people who think they can get away with anything... This is the second time I've been here, and both times I've encountered this woman on a video call with her daughter, with the volume at full blast. We could hear the entire conversation, and she was shouting. No one came to tell her to turn it down. We had to go outside to find some peace and quiet.
