The food was nice but unfortunately the girls dinner not turn up until well after the boys had finished eating the atmosphere was interesting because there where two older French lady’s who seemed to take offence to us laughing and enjoying ourselves but I don’t suppose we can blame the restaurant for that

Every time we come to La Rochelle, we eat here. Super tasty, partly organic too, and friendly service. Here you can still eat well at an affordable price (in Belgium this would cost double).

The menu says "red wine" or "grand red wine." You ask which wine it is, and they tell you: "Chianti!" And they serve it at room temperature: 24°C instead of 16°C! It's true that a wine cellar for serving at the correct temperature is expensive… But doesn't customer satisfaction justify the investment? And then comes a tiramisu with no real biscuits and no coffee flavor… Here, the concern for customer satisfaction seems to have been forgotten. And then the restaurant owners complain…

Having returned to Ragazzi for dinner and once again delighted, I was surprised to read a particularly disparaging review of the staff, especially the restaurant manager, nicknamed "the man behind the bar." I can understand that for some, tearing people down while pretending to be a food critic is a way of operating ("I think I'm contributing to society by posting on Google"), but when it's completely false, it's called defamation. No need to elaborate further; it would only give importance to people who have none. As a regular customer of this restaurant for years, I have only one thing to say: the food is excellent, and the service is incredibly professional and warm. And "the man behind the bar" is absolutely charming. Much more so than "the woman in front of her pizza," in any case. Tonight's proof: a superb, highly professional, and personalized welcome.

A very, very good restaurant. Impeccable service. The tables are close together, so you can hear your neighbors' conversations quite a bit, which is a shame.

A lovely little restaurant in the center of La Rochelle. Located on a quiet side street. Excellent service. The pasta was delicious. The €18 set menu is fantastic.

An excellent restaurant in La Rochelle. The welcome is simply perfect, the servers are very pleasant and attentive. The menu is varied, all the dishes are homemade daily (pasta, desserts), everything is delicious, and the portions are more than generous. At lunchtime on weekdays, a set menu is offered for €18 (main course + small dessert + coffee), unbeatable value for money. I went back several times during my stay and I will gladly return for my next vacation. A big thank you to the whole team 😊

I love it! The food is amazing... Friendly service... I go back regularly and every time I'm in La Rochelle... The only slight downside: it's often full, so remember to book 😉

While passing through La Rochelle, we ate at this establishment twice. The welcome was perfect. The food was excellent. And the service was impeccable. I highly recommend it.

A great trattoria that's always packed because the quality is there! There's a wine cellar in the basement where you can pour yourself a bottle of your choice – a really nice and unique experience!
