The setting is beautiful for a wedding. The room is spacious but a bit noisy. Please add more restrooms.

This place is truly magical and special, it smells of history and feels like you're back in time... highly recommended.

This is undoubtedly the most beautiful structure on the Esseillon barrier. The fort is in excellent condition, the visit is splendid, and there are several scavenger hunts available within the fort (for all ages and budgets), which adds a fun element and makes the visit less formal. In short, a wonderful family outing, beautiful memories, thank you for your hospitality. And the little ice cream in the inner courtyard at the end of the visit—the perfect way to end a perfect visit!

Very well maintained grounds, bar and exhibitions... part of it can be privatized for festive events.

€4 for an interesting one-hour tour about the history of the forts and the region. Audio recordings of accounts of life in bygone days are available. Families with children can enjoy a puzzle activity. This can be combined (free of charge) with a walk to Fort Victor Emmanuel via the old Devil's Bridge. The 1.4km walk is accessible to all walkers. Holiday vouchers are accepted but not available at reception due to lack of network coverage.

I also discovered it while driving along the road...imposing! You can see it on the hill from an abysmal distance, and after passing the lake, heading towards Italy, you can see it again.

Worth a visit. It's a real shame there's nowhere to lock bikes anywhere on the La Redoute and Accrobranche site.
