13/10/2024 the cottage is unfortunately closed. No information about opening hours. Weird.

We were very well received and advised by the manager and staff of the shelter. Adorable people, smiling and available. Gersende the cook delighted us and the picnics were very generous. We were delighted with our stay and are already planning to return next year. Thanks again to everyone See you next year Nicolas (the “fabrics” 😉)

Coming at 6 to eat lunch, we were treated to a warm and relaxed welcome at the foot of the lake. Despite a unique menu with 4 meat eaters, 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan, the team took the time to make arrangements with us so that everyone found what they were looking for. In the end, 6 delighted customers faced with HOMEMADE cuisine from starter to dessert :) Congratulations to the team for their warm welcome until the end of the season!

The Lac d’Allos refuge is absolutely exceptional. Two consecutive years that we have stayed with friends! Nestled in the heart of wild and preserved nature, it offers a unique experience for all mountain lovers. The welcome is warm, and the friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home from the first minute. Special mention for the kitchen: the meals are tasty and generous. It is a true haven of peace, ideal for recharging your batteries and fully enjoying the beauty of Lac D'Allos. A big thank you to the entire team for their dedication and passion, which made this stay unforgettable. I recommend this refuge without hesitation to anyone looking for a real change of scenery and total immersion in nature. See you next year ;-)

An exceptional place, incredible cuisine and staff full of humor and very warm. A very pleasant mountain refuge (it's not a hotel, I prefer to remind you), we had a great time with half board.

Great atmosphere. I went there for lunch for Saint Laurent. The welcome is friendly, the meal is quality and plentiful. For €21, you will have the meal planned for the day of your arrival with starter, main course and dessert, all homemade (refuge) and you can even get a discount. Remember that the CB does not go through a shelter, bring cash and arrive between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Booking is better. Special mention to our very pleasant waitress.

Great welcome, fast service. The menu is simple and plentiful. Of course the view of the lake is absolutely splendid. I recommend booking in advance.

En arrivant ici, nous avons été attirés par le menu et l'humour "second degré" du personnel. Nous avons réservé 2 couverts et fait le tour du lac. Vers 11h50, apéro en terrasse (superbe!). Ensuite, un couple de Français (nous sommes Belges), nous propose de s'asseoir à leur table. La serveuse se montre conciliante, bienveillante, empathique et....joue avec notre humour! Le repas sera parfait: une cuisine authentique, généreuse et savoureuse. Et que dire des prix? Mais c'est top! Tout se termine dans une ambiance de convivialité que nous n'oublierons pas. Merci à TOUTE l'équipe du refuge pour ce merveilleux moment de partages.
