La table est correcte et le décor chaleureux. Dommage que l’accueil et le service ( des filles) ne soient pas aussi chaleureux que le lieu…. Peu d’amabilité des serveuses alors que nous étions une grande tablée avec peu d’exigence.

Very good family meal. Very hearty. The setting is nice especially with a good sunset

We only had the opportunity to eat there. The place is very beautiful with a magnificent view. We were very well received but disappointed with the dishes which were not fabulous. The wine by the glass was not of good quality.

Top notch welcome and service. We had a vegetable risotto which was not cooked and frozen vegetables. The chocolate mousse much too compact. We didn't go to Les Fines Bouches after a big hike. But perhaps these are not the most ordered dishes and inevitably they may be a little less elaborate.

Still so good! New visit this weekend in May 2024. Delicious evening meal, room for 5 people. with large private shower-wc room (there were 5 of us for a hike around Hohneck). Hearty breakfast (self-catering). Very friendly welcome. Be careful to book in advance (address in high demand). I recommend with the same enthusiasm as my previous review (August 2015). ---- A must include in your program if you do several days of hiking in the area. The panoramic view on the Lorraine side is sumptuous. The chalet, completely renovated recently (2012, I think), is ideal for welcoming groups (there were around fifteen of us) or families. The 4 to 6 bed rooms are spacious, clean and well organized. In total around sixty beds. Traditional meal that is both good and consistent. Friendly welcome and service that doesn't drag on. We really feel good here. I recommend without any reservation.

Highly recommended. Rooms are good and the dinner and breakfast with half board is very good. Price/performance was also top.

We went there for dinner and it was really delicious! There is a selection of regional dishes there. The menus with starter, main course and dessert are affordable. Vegetarian alternatives are also offered. The portions are really big!
