The place is magnificent. On the other hand, the staff is not pleasant (speak badly, make inappropriate comments and are not acceptable when you are in the hotel or restaurant business). We didn't feel comfortable and that really spoiled the stay. Also, I come every year, I find that this year the quality of the food has dropped.

What can we say in addition to the exceptional setting, one of the most beautiful in the Hautes Alpes, a south-facing terrace, organized service with a smile, a perfect dish of the day, the dessert does honor to the city, in short, well done to the whole team 👍

Awesome. Top notch welcome. We arrived late in the day on a Sunday in March. Smiling welcome despite an intense lunch service… accommodating and friendly. The pies were delicious. Really great... it allowed us to rest for a sled descent. Loaned free of charge. THANKS

After a walk of around 2 hours from Laus, arrival at the Refuge Napoléon for a well-deserved lunch break.
Warm welcome, attentive staff and delicious meals.

Accueil très chaleureux, sur la terrasse le personnel est attentionné et prêt à s'adapter pour satisfaire au mieux ses clients. Les plats sont bons et adaptés à l'effort qui est fait pour se rendre jusqu'à là. Une belle expérience à refaire.

Nous sommes retournés comme chaque année au refuge, ce fut toujours un plaisir de monté à pieds en se rappelant les descentes des années précédentes en luge. Petite surprise en revanche en réservant, changement de propriétaire impliquant quelques changements… plus d’eau en carafe. Propriétaire plutôt effacé face à ce lieux de caractère, peut être le temps de prendre leurs marques face à ce lieux chargés d’histoires. Un grand merci à Alex qui a su comme chaque année nous accompagné au cours du repas et nous faire vivre à travers ces murs et ces montagnes. On espères te revoir l’année prochaine…Merci pour cette superbe soirée et attention à la descente en luge il faut bien choisir son bolide.
