The breakfasts are very good.
I don't find the rooms amazing for the price.
But the location is perfect, the beach is just a few minutes' walk away.

We spent our vacation at the Hotel La Pagerie from May 18th to 27th, 2026, and we were delighted!
The staff at reception, breakfast, and the housekeeping staff were all very welcoming, friendly, and efficient.
We had some noise issues with a neighboring room, and we were offered a different room the following day.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Breakfast was varied. It included classic choices (eggs prepared in different ways, raw vegetables, bread, ham, cheese, etc.) as well as local specialties (fresh seasonal fruit, local jams, avocado and smoked herring salad, cod salad, coconut flan, and many others) which were fresh and delicious.
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try the restaurant or the hotel bars.
The only slight drawback was the presence of birds, which were sometimes a bit intrusive, at breakfast. The restaurant was open, and the birds had several nests nearby. They were actively searching for food to feed their young. One of them was sometimes aggressive with the guests and staff 😔 On the last day of our visit, the nests were removed, so the problem may be resolved now. I think it's a temporary and seasonal issue, which is also tricky to manage, so I'm not penalizing the hotel in my rating for it. I found it annoying at times, but my husband found it amusing, so everyone's experience will be different!
Thank you to the whole team!! We loved our holiday on the island, and the hotel staff were fantastic throughout.

Overall, a disappointing 4-night stay for a 4-star hotel.
The room had several issues: mold on the shower ceiling, dust in the bathroom, and lint and dust behind the bed. We were also surprised that the room had twin beds, information that should have been specified at the time of booking, as we probably wouldn't have chosen this accommodation had we known.
The exterior area of the superior room was also poorly maintained. The dislodged downspouts caused a constant dripping noise on the metal dividing wall every time it rained, regularly waking us up during the night.
Another regrettable point: some of the housekeeping staff's interventions in an occupied room didn't seem to follow the expected standards of this type of establishment.
Fortunately, it wasn't all bad. We would like to highlight the excellent reception service, as well as the very high standard of the restaurant, breakfast, and especially the impeccable service.
It's a shame that the quality of the rooms and their upkeep didn't quite match the rest of the amenities.
