Relais de la Mothe sur Yzeures-Sur-Creuse

We stayed at this hotel for a spa break at La Roche-Posay because the hotel offers discounted rates. It's a real gem, very charming. It's located in the center of Yzeures-sur-Creuse, a small, traditional town with a few shops. A car is necessary to get around (10 minutes from La Roche-Posay). The Relais is very spacious, tastefully decorated in a traditional style, and very comfortable. There are several small lounges for reading, relaxing, playing games, or having coffee or tea... a gym, and coffee and water machines throughout... The room was pleasant, bright, and clean, tastefully decorated. It was well-equipped with a Dolce Gusto machine, TV, hairdryer, towel warmer, large shower with toiletries, and air conditioning... It's quite quiet at night, both inside and out. Everyone has their own preferences. For us, the curtains weren't dark enough, we were woken up at the crack of dawn, the bedding wasn't to our liking, and the pillows were too flat, but everyone has their own habits. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and everything was very good. At the restaurant, everything is homemade, and a large portion of the breakfast is too—it's all very high quality. The staff is helpful, friendly, and very pleasant. Special mention goes to Madeline, with whom I exchanged numerous emails to prepare for our stay, and who was absolutely perfect. A place we would gladly recommend!

Perfect in terms of location, room, and staff. The only downside was that this establishment was listed in the Logis guide as having a secure area for motorcycles (the pictogram confirms this), but in reality, nothing was provided. The vehicle was able to be parked in a courtyard of the establishment with a locked gate. However, this is not a secure area as usually indicated by the pictogram on the establishment's listing. This is important to me; it's my primary selection criterion, even before price and location.

We had lunch at Le Relais de la Mothe during a cycling trip on the greenway, and this restaurant was a wonderful discovery for us. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the food, the setting. An excellent restaurant that we will gladly return to.

We love eating at Relais de la Mothe. We appreciate the restaurant's decor, the background music, the excellent quality bistro menu, and its reasonable prices. Furthermore, the staff is very welcoming.

We spent one night at this hotel, booked by a friend. The decor is rustic; you either like it or you don't, it can give it a slightly old-fashioned charm. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and very clean. The hotel is very quiet and has a gym, which we didn't use but looked very well-equipped. I can't comment on breakfast as we were expected elsewhere. The staff were friendly and pleasant. It's very well located in Yzeures.

Stylishly restored old building. The original features have been preserved. Truly beautiful for those who appreciate a romantic interior. The rooms are spacious and equipped with comfortable beds. Everything looks quite new and well-maintained. The restaurant offers a daily menu, but we dined à la carte. The food was excellent.
