Relais du Castera sur Nestier

Positive point: refined, tasty cuisine made from fresh produce. Appetizers and mini treats offered. Negative points: only one menu offered (a priori for people in pensions another formula at 25E is possible 🤔), gourmet menu at 42 euros 2 starters 2 main courses 2 desserts with the possibility of mixing this menu à la carte. We were not offered an aperitif 🤔. High price of the meal! And insufficient garnish for the dish. Very little bread served and impossible to have a second dessert at the end. 🫤 Excessive wine prices. In summary, a little expensive for an excellent meal where everything is not perfect.

I had lunch (so I can't rate the rooms). I was on a motorbike and arrived late at lunchtime but I was kindly welcomed and I just enjoyed myself, the dishes were beautiful and excellent. Nice little terrace.

For our last holiday meal, really not disappointed 😁 A welcome and top-notch service with a very friendly and attentive waiter 👍 excellent refined cuisine, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish and the little extra succulent aperitif verrines and small original treats offered 😁 menu at 42€, and as it you have to know how to treat yourself, we had a nice little wine to accompany it all 😉 We recommend 100%, do not hesitate!

Distintas opciones de menú y carta. Cogí el de 42 € y acerté. Buen pan, tentempié agradable. Foie de calidad y con una guarnición que realzaba su sabor. La carne era una sugerencia del día, ternera con setas. Salsa delicosa, la carne quizás le sobraba un minuto de cocción para estar un poco más rosada y blanda, pero aún así muy buena. El sablé de Valhrona con mandarina, una delicia de postre, quizás lo mejor. Cubertería de plata, comedor acogedor y amplio, con pocas mesas. Aunque no quise café, me sirvieron sus acompañamientos. Camarero muy correcto. Bastantes elementos en común con restaurantes con estrella de los Pirineos. Sin duda, para repetir y recomendar.

Cuisine excellente, digne de bons restaurants gastronomiques. Service assuré aux petits soins, souriant, chaleureux et parlant un anglais parfait. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et nous reviendrons. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.

The food is fantastic, we have stayed a while ago and it has been very comfortable and pleasant. A hidden gem in the Pyrenees, with several places to visit, enjoying the peace and kindness of its people. Not to be missed, especially to enjoy excellent gastronomy. We had lunch yesterday after not eating there for a couple of years. It once again did not disappoint. Excellent service, and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Gourmet menu at €42. Refined and excellent cuisine. The superb presentation. Fast and friendly service. Two little extras: appetizers at the start of the meal and sweets at the end.
