Relais France Suisse sur Saint-Gingolph

My partner and I stumbled into this restaurant by chance. The atmosphere was very friendly. The customers chatted amongst themselves, just like at home. A unique place, seemingly untouched by time. It felt like the clock had stopped in the 1960s or 70s, just like at Grandma's house 👵 An amazing lady waitress for her age. The meals were generous and delicious 😋 The floating island dessert was divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommended. A great place to stop for the best filets de perches on the lake. I believe they also grow their own salad for service in the restaurant. A great wine selection, and a wonderful welcome from the family who have run this restaurant for many years. Really worth a visit. We loved the old style charm, right down to the hand folded napkins. We will visit again!

Once again, my gastronomic instinct led me to the ideal restaurant. The Relais France - Suisse, located a stone's throw from the Swiss border, has been run by the same family for 120 years, according to the charming hostess. We ordered the fish of the day, caught in the lake, and the meat dish of the day. Both were accompanied by a delicious fresh salad and a succulent sauce. As if that weren't enough to satisfy our taste buds, we each treated ourselves to dessert to top it all off. Very attentive yet discreet service. The food was excellent overall.

Small restaurant on the edge of the lake with a pretty veranda which has a view of the lake. The owners are very nice and the food is very good.

A lovely surprise, a setting with period charm but impeccable service, tables with cloth tablecloths and napkins, very clean. Excellent cuisine, homemade, a fabulous fruit tart. And as a bonus, a "young" waitress, smiling and very friendly. Thank you

Restaurant located just outside St-Gingolph, coming from Switzerland. Very warm welcome and excellent service from the owner. Succulent perch fillets with very generous portions. You can also choose from a menu (with or without a starter) including sole fillet or steak.

Excellent, don't hesitate to stop by. We were kindly welcomed and served by the owners. The fried food was good, served quickly. Just be careful, they don't have a POS terminal! (but they gladly accept both currencies)

A peaceful place, even though it's by the roadside. A calm and cozy atmosphere. Smiles and kindness. Beautiful, well-set tables with hand-folded cloth napkins. A simple menu, which alone proves that everything is homemade. We'll be back!
