A very warm welcome from the mother and daughter. Clean room and a very good meal. A must-try if you're passing through St Chely.

We had a wonderful time with Karine and her mother Rosette. Dynamic and genuine, Karine is quite a character; we had a good laugh with her, and it will remain one of the best moments of the five days we spent on the Camino this year.

A great time, great atmosphere in the evening at the lodge. We also had a very good meal in the evening and at breakfast. The owner is great! Honest and authentic, we loved it. The rooms are very nice, exactly what we needed. A great memory of Saint-Chely!

Family welcome (from Karine and Rosette, her mother) with a southern accent, a warm and exuberant owner, functional single rooms, very clean and recently renovated, washing and drying facilities nearby (much appreciated in this rainy weather), plate service, well-stocked breakfast.

A very pleasant evening at Karine and her mother Rosette's. They're truly personalities! We had a good laugh and shared. Our only aligot of the trip, but what an aligot! I would have liked more generous portions, though. The same goes for the butter at breakfast. Comfortable and clean rooms. I still recommend it.

A very warm welcome from our group in a family atmosphere. Karine is full of energy and kindness. The typical local meal of aligot and sausage was served with a smile and humor by Romane. The rooms were spotlessly clean. A lovely stop on the trail.

A wonderful, warm welcome, you feel at home right away. Third generations maintain the bonds. Rosette the grandmother, Karine the daughter, and Roxane the granddaughter, very sunny 🙏 Excellent evening. I highly recommend it.

I hesitated to give it 4 stars, but I changed my mind after reading other reviews that I recognized myself in: 1) Welcome: I wasn't well received upon arrival, in the sense that the manager gave me cursory directions to the annex of the gîte where I was staying. There was no map to take a photo of, no GPS marker, or precise address. After a long day of walking, I expected a warmer welcome and, above all, for her to take the time to explain things to me. 2) Dinner portions: The dinner portions are indeed rationed; I was still hungry (even though I'm small). However, breakfast was very decent, but again with a very thin piece of butter, also rationed. 3) Rooms: The annex of the gîte is dated but nonetheless functional. Regarding cleanliness, I found bits of fingernails next to my bed. Apart from these 3 points, I do not recommend this gîte run by the same family, which is well located in the village and which is run by the mother, who always has a smile and a quick joke (you either like it or not, but she has a beautiful vitality which is contagious!)
