While visiting Beauval Zoo, we stayed at this hotel. The room was decent, very clean, with a large and functional shower room and comfortable bedding. Breakfast wasn't very varied for the price, but the dining room was very pleasant. The parking was very convenient, and there's a small garden with tables and chairs under the linden trees. It's a shame there wasn't a vending machine. Security was provided all night by a very friendly and professional guard.
Disadvantages: the beds were poorly positioned in relation to the lighting, the room was dark, there were stairs to climb to reach the two upper floors, and there was a lot of traffic on the roundabout, so it was noisy if you left the windows open. Once closed, you could barely hear anything.
Advantages: proximity to the park, and the same goes for Saint-Aignan, which is a lovely town with nice and affordable restaurants. The room price was a bit high, but it's Beauval. Go for it, it's still good and the cheapest hotel in the group.

Hello,
The rooms were clean and spacious, but there was a lack of storage space, as it wasn't available in all rooms. Breakfast was very meager; if you wanted more bread, it was absolutely impossible (a small basket with just enough for each person!). There was no still water that day. And for fruit, there were only a few apples and bananas, nothing else...

A small hotel that makes for a calm and relaxing experience. The air conditioning in our room was very faulty, and there was no one at reception to discuss it. They provided phone numbers, but I didn't want to be glued to my phone; I wanted to rest. Aside from this minor inconvenience, I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located near Beauval Zoo, about 10 minutes away. There is no physical reception, but the explanation of the codes is very simple. The rooms are quite nice, good for spending a night, although they may be poorly soundproofed as you can hear everything the neighbors say. There is air conditioning inside, which is very practical. Perhaps a small refrigerator would be a good addition to keep drinks cold when you bring them home.

The convenience and simple yet effective comfort of this establishment. Impeccable cleanliness both in the rooms and common areas. Very complete breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The only surprise, though not a major issue, was the lack of a physical reception area – just a code and a key box.
I would definitely stay again.

This is a 2-star hotel ✨, apparently due to the lack of staff. We entered with a door code, and no one checked us in. The room was small, without a desk, and had a musty smell. There were minimal towels, but the bed was quite comfortable 🛏️, which helped us forget the feeling of being lost and disappointed 🤦♀️.
The breakfast was simple, but the coffee ☕ was delicious. However, we couldn't get a cappuccino because the machine wasn't working. 😊 Basically, if you're looking for an inexpensive and simple night and evening, you're welcome here! Pros: inexpensive, clean, comfortable mattress. Cons: no welcoming atmosphere, no ventilation, and after a night of fogging up, the windows were leaking, and we found a puddle on the floor. The interior also creates a rather depressing atmosphere.

The hotel was very clean, and breakfast included pastries for everyone. Self check-in was a great feature.

We received confirmation of payment with some information regarding our arrival time, but no further details. At no point was it mentioned that check-in was self-service.
During our visit to the park, I received two missed calls. When I called back, I was informed that the tourist tax had to be paid by phone before 7:00 PM—information that, again, had never been provided to us. I was even told that without this payment (€1.88 for 3 people), I wouldn't be able to access my room. Without my call back, we wouldn't have known anything about it. Even then, no one indicated that access to the hotel was self-service, as if it were a given.
Upon our arrival at 7:00 PM, we spent nearly 10 minutes trying to find our way in: no signs, no directions. I tried calling the number I had contacted earlier, but the line was closed. Fortunately, by listening to the end of the message, an emergency number was provided. The person I contacted told me I was supposed to have received an email with all the instructions… which I hadn't. So we had to wait outside, in the cold and rain, for her to resend the information before we could finally access the hotel.
Once inside, the rooms are accessed via a narrow staircase, and the room itself is cramped. Lighting is practically nonexistent: only two bedside lamps illuminate the room—a candle would have been almost more effective. It's hard to tell if this is meant to create an "intimate" atmosphere or is simply due to a lack of light.
In the bathroom, the towel warmer wasn't working, and there were no hand towels or a hairdryer.
Breakfast was decent, and the dining room was pleasant. However, for €13, it's disappointing that the pastries seemed mass-produced or frozen, especially considering the food waste on some tables. My son asked for an extra piece of bread, which was initially refused, giving the impression that the quantities are strictly limited to the number of customers. An employee finally agreed to bring him some afterwards.
