In addition to the absolutely stunning setting, the fries and rillettes were delicious, and the drinks were refreshing. We received a warm welcome and prompt service from a young waitress (thank you!). This place deserves more stars :)

Beautiful terrace setting with views of the castle and the lake. Pleasant and relaxing. My sister-in-law and I had the beef rebs – absolutely delicious! The meat melted in our mouths. A real treat.

A rather good experience overall. We came for lunch on the terrace for two. The escargot starter was fine, and the foie gras was very good. The octopus was excellent, and the risotto was also very good, though a little small for a main course. The wine was rather simple but pleasant, so we appreciated the recommendation! Finally, we asked for a green salad as an extra side dish, which was also good. In the end, it was a lovely time on the terrace with delicious food and a very pleasant view of the castle and the lake, even in bright sunshine, as the tables are well shaded.

Home-style cooking that I highly recommend; the tapas and cocktails are excellent, as is the menu. Beautiful setting, great atmosphere, and fast service. Top-notch.

On the way back, we happened to make a slight detour to see Val Castle. It was 11:45 am, and by chance, we found ourselves at the Relais de Val. Wow, what an experience!!! A magical view, a place that makes you want to linger over coffee in the lounge area, or even take a nap to digest because the food is excellent, truly excellent. I had the ribeye steak with a side of truffade (everything was excellent! And the rare steak was cooked to perfection, which is quite rare, so I'm mentioning it) and the blue cheese sauce was divine. My sweetheart had the Milanese veal cutlet with fries, and everything was excellent!! The portions are generous, very generous!! And the service is top-notch: quick, friendly, everything is done to make you feel welcome. We'll definitely be keeping this address for a return visit!

We took a short lunch break during our motorcycle road trip for the ACE EXPERIENCE. It was a wonderful experience: excellent food, impeccable service, and a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

We went there as a group of 16 with our car club. Despite forgetting to confirm our reservation, they still welcomed us even though the restaurant was nearly full. A friendly and efficient team. Quick service, no waiting. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate to try this restaurant; you won't regret it!

We came for a drink and an ice cream after visiting the castle. The view of Val Castle was lovely. The beautiful terrace was perfect for relaxing. The waitress was attentive and friendly.
